DipMH&Addiction, BSc, RP
Cheryl first entered the helping professions over twenty-five years ago, by working at a shelter for men experiencing homelessness. It was there at the shelter that she became aware of the devastating cycle of addiction and lack of resources for men seeking recovery. Cheryl completed her Bachelor of Science degree and Fleming College’s Drug and Alcohol diploma and has since worked with community addiction services, community withdrawal management teams, and crisis intervention programs. Cheryl also specializes in seminar training to help equip community agencies in working with people with mental health and addiction challenges. Cheryl has been counselling people for over 15 years and has been a registered psychotherapist since 2015.
Cheryl has been the Clinical Director of CHRC since 2019 where her dream of seeing people being able to access the holistic resources needed to heal mind, body and spirit have been realized.
